Why Use a Crockpot?

How Long Will This Take?
The total cook time for your chicken and dumplings is 4 hours. You will need to create the soup base and cook it for 3 hours, then make the dumplings and place them in before cooking for another hour. This means you can make your meal ahead of time and not have to be rushing to make everything at once when dinnertime comes.
Why Use Cheese?
Cheese is used as a base for the dumplings instead of normal heavy floured concepts because it reduces the carbs so that the food can be low carb for keto eaters. You still get a delicious and similar result to traditional dumplings, but it’s less effort to make the dough and keeps carbs low.

What Do I Do With Leftovers?
You can easily store leftover chicken and dumplings in your fridge after making them, just put them into an air-tight container and into the fridge. To reheat your leftovers be sure to remove the dumplings and reheat the soup on its own in the microwave or on the stovetop, then heat the dumplings in the oven or microwave separately to put on top.
